Well, firstly i have to introduce myself. I’m Kelly. I’m English and I’m in love in sports and betting. I spent at the bookies all my life and now now i’m early 30s. I don’t gamble so I’ve never lost any bigger amounts of money on any bet, ever. Perhaps £50 maximum in my life.
To be completely honest with you i put some money into my account at online bookie and i wanted to bet on football. But then i figure it out that bookie offers also possibility to play in casino online. I tried that and of course i lost first bet. It was only £2 so i decide to play progressive. So i multiplied earlier stake. I lost £4. I played again and I lost £8. So totally i lost already £13. But i bet again and i lost £16. I was angry on myself. but i decide if i lost once more, I will never play again. I had few £ more on my account so i bet £32 and… I won.
After that i withdraw money and said to myself i won’t play in casino any more. But i didn’t say anything about betting. For this day I love patterns and numbers, so I have experimented with many systems but never devised anything that I could call life changing.
I never treat betting as way of earning money. Mine system was based on basketball betting for games in the NBA. The basis of my system was to use sports I knew nothing about, sports which had only 2 outcomes – win or lose or number of points over/under – and then use the real experts (the bookies) and select odds that fell within certain criteria. If you want you can use also betting on over/under, it also has only two outcomes, but you have to pick leagues you don’t know. Thanks to that you will not prejudice anything.
What happened, when i withdraw nice amount of money?
I lost rest, which i leave at the bookies. I thought i always be in that winning streak, i believe too much in myself. Betting really does take discipline and that’s the most important lesson I have learned. Thankfully it was not a costly one. I can’t forgot about analysing and focusing on matches, not bet with feelings.
